Had a good weekend of fishing. Looks like the walleyes have spawned and are liking fat heads and
green. Lot of nice fish brought in. Need more pictures so don't forget to stop by before hitting the cleaning house.
We have Cabin #6 open for June 30th to July 6th. Thought it was rented out, but
fell through again. So if you are still looking for a special place for the week over the 4th don't forget about Dixon
Lake Resort.

Lot of leaves on the trees. The loons are back, the birds are looking for that spot for
their nest. I think it is finally spring/summer.
The Memorial Weekend
Pot Luck will be on May 25th at 6. Always a great time to get back together with all our friends. Also its
the start up of the craft times. Tie Die T-Shirts Sat at 2. Charge for T-Shirts is $10. Thanks. Craft
time after that will be at 4 on Sat., Tuesdays and Thursdays. Always looking for ideas so don't be afraid
to share. Such a fun time with all the kids. Seeing there little minds going.
4th of
July Celabrations will be held on the Friday the 5th. We will have a parade at 2 on
the 4th. So make plans to be here. We have Free Wi-Fi that reaches all our cabins and camp sites
New this winter is cable TV to the lake side cabins. No extra charge. TV's are all set up with dvd players. We
rent moves or bring your own.
Located deep in the Chippewa National Forest,
only 5 miles from
the North end of Lake Winnibigoshish's
State-owned boat landing. Dixon Lake is a great fishing lake with varying depths, weed beds, islands
and a beautiful shore line. It is noted for its excellent spring and fall Walleye Bite. Crappie fishing at its best
all year long either through the ice or off the docks. Sunnies, bass, and perch are pleniful and there are
the ever hungry northern to insure that no one gets skunked on this lake. Third River flows from Dixon into Winnie and insures
a wide variety of fishing opportunities all year around. Dixon offers a quiet, peaceful alternative to Winnie when the
wind is up so you still can bring home supper. Whether you are
looking for a family fishing vacation, a hunting trip with the guys, some quiet time with hiking, beautiful fall colors, or
an excursion with snowmobiles or 4-wheelers, or spearing and angling out on the ice.

WHY DO THEY LOVE US... Dixon
and Winnie have a great walleye bite in the spring and early summer, along with big crappies, sunnies and perch.
With fishing right off the docks there is no need to go anywhere else. But if you must you just have to get up 5 minutes
earler and take the 5 mile drive to a nice state owned landing on Lake Winnibigoshish's third river floweage. Red Lake
is only 50 minute away and with other area lakes near by Dixon Lake Resort is the perfect Location.
Kids love our sandy shoreline , shady play ground, our crafty time and fun activaties most with a nature theme. Not
limited to kids. Mom's we can have fun too. It is amazing what you can do with a pinecone, a rock, some sand and
lots of imagination, add kids and you have a great vacation. This year we are going to try Pony rides, bugs permiting.

and the kids just flock to it.
Our "Up North" lakeside cabins
are spaced out on the waters edge, comfortable new or newly remodeled. Each has it's own theme and
comes with air conditioning, soft water, fresh linens,
full kitchen, with microwave. Some have gas fireplaces, decks or screened in porches. Each cabin has lots of yard space, fire ring,
charcoal grill, picnic table and a dock. Each cabin will get free dock space for one boat. OR a Free 14 ' boat.
This is a quiet resort with
lakeside cabins so close to the water we hope you don't sleep walk. You will get the peacefulness needed to
wipe away the stress from your life!
